We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, youll support a variety of initiatives by organizing, analyzing, and tracking projects from start to finish. This is a cross-functional position that plays a key role in ensuring our projects stay on track, meet objectives, and are successfully integrated into daily operations. This is a hybrid role based in either Marietta, GA or Richmond, VA. After a successful first 30 days, youll shift to a 3-days remote / 2-days in-office schedule. Track the status of program deliverables and milestones across multiple projects Assist in the adoption and integration of project deliverables into operations Monitor projects as they transition into ongoing service and support Provide timely and accurate reporting on project status and progress Maintain project documentation, communications, and templates Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, or variances Organize workshops to identify areas for project improvement and present recommendations Update and manage the overall program plan using input from Project Managers and stakeholders Support change control, quality assurance, and knowledge-sharing activities Please note: This list represents key responsibilities but is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field 2+ years of experience in project coordination or analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, MS Project, or similar) Understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies is a plus Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience
Knowledge of print and direct mail marketing is a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Basic understanding of database design concepts (e.g., primary/foreign keys, indexes, triggers) Familiarity with structured query language (SQL) Basic knowledge of development principles (e.g., control structures, variables, object-oriented programming) Why Join UpSwell?
