Coordinator of the Practical Nursing Program (ADM3338)

The Coordinator of the Practical Nursing Program is responsible for providing leadership in curriculum development, program review, and ensuring the program's relevance to current healthcare needs. This role involves overseeing licensing processes, compliance with state and federal regulations, establishing policies, maintaining clinical partnerships, recruiting faculty, supervising simulation labs, and managing student admissions. The coordinator also promotes the program, participates in college events, seeks funding opportunities, teaches the curriculum, and collaborates with community partners to meet program standards. **Qualifications:** Current, active RN license in the U.S. or equivalent international license; eligibility for Kansas nursing license. Master's degree in Nursing. At least two years of teaching experience in a Practical Nursing Program. Three to five years of clinical practice, including at least three years in a clinical setting. Experience in nursing education administration, licensing, and accreditation preferred. Supervisory experience and effective communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. **Additional Requirements:** Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
