Title: Project Manager Location: Remote

Ekman Associates is a management consulting firm that specializes in developing business, digital, and technology strategy, delivering solutions, and addressing human resource demands.

Summary: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex IT and business transformation projects, tactical execution of business processes, solid project management, and strong working knowledge of SDLC and agile framework.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering and business owners to drive planning, execution and delivery of critical projects. Spearhead the projects using SDLC and scrum practices. Develop communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Partner with cross functional teams to drive product analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases. Ensure project activities happen as planned. Own end to end planning, execution, delivery and change management for multiple projects. Work closely with the Portfolio/Program Manager to establish program governance and decision models. Drive process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation. Work with various globally distributed cross functional teams to align on project priorities, track and manage inter dependencies. Assist the Program Manager in developing detailed requirement analysis, planning, driving e2e execution and overall status updates Identify and map program and project dependencies within and outside of the program/project, ensuring the right cross-functional partners are engaged in a timely manner. Track and manage inter dependencies and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly. Resolve conflicts/issues that occur and resolve impediments blocking scrum team's progress. Manage project risks with mitigation strategies. Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in compliance with program's change management methodologies. Effectively manage stress in accomplishing the foregoing list. Requirements

9+ years of experience in the Project Management domain with a track record of delivering complex technology projects in high-tech IT/Operations space. Strong experience in managing complex projects using software development lifecycle Demonstrated record of problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience collaborating with technical teams to develop systems, solutions, and products. Experience leading global projects, including hands-on project management of multiple concurrent projects. Experience with leading and delivering projects both in agile and waterfall methods. Experience with change management, IT service management/service catalog.
