About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client's Platform Engineering team, based in New York City. Our client operates within the financial software sector and is on a mission to modernize the syndicated loan market through advanced data and technology solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing cloud infrastructure, enhancing operational performance, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions that deliver value to the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities
Modernize applications through DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchain implementation. Optimize architecture and infrastructure for scalability, performance, and observability. Collaborate with developers to ensure implementation of DevOps best practices. Develop and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure, including network, application, and database layers. Maintain disaster recovery strategies and participate in production support rotations. Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of expertise with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD, or Jenkins. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Splunk.
