Responsibilities
Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill AFB, FL, and at TSOC and Component locations across the U.S. and abroad. This position is based at MacDill AFB. The SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) aims to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services. These services include maintaining Network Operations (NetOps), system and network infrastructure, end-user support, configuration management, training, and IMAC services. The tasks are crucial for USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and end-users operating globally 24/7. The Systems Administrator is a vital member of our IT team, responsible for hands-on administration and support of global enterprise IT services. This includes managing Group Policy, licensing systems, servers, and ensuring smooth operation of policies, licenses, and Active Directory services. Objective:
The Systems Administrator will handle daily management and troubleshooting of GPOs within a large Active Directory environment, requiring a solid understanding of client/server, networking, and internet technologies, along with practical experience in Microsoft Windows domains. Responsibilities: Provide tier one and two network and systems support per SIE OPORD. Support systems hosting complex databases, software configuration, and system interfaces. Maintain file servers and network access, troubleshoot system anomalies. Monitor application servers and storage devices, analyze hardware/software failures. Study operating instructions for equipment setup and operation. Troubleshoot and configure systems to maintain operations during malfunctions. Coordinate with software engineers to resolve errors. Maintain operating records, perform OS patches and upgrades. Analyze and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Configure and optimize OS and hardware, perform backups and recovery. Conduct server builds and infrastructure troubleshooting, including VDI components. Develop and maintain SOPs for infrastructure and VDI environment. Qualifications
Minimum 12 years with HS Diploma, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with PHD. DoD TS/SCI clearance required. DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II certification. Peraton Overview
