role located in Virginia Beach ***Local candidates only or ability to relocate prior to start of employment ***Visa sponsorship not available, must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident Our growing company is currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our IT Department. In this role, the Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and designing front end and back-end architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working on web design features. Must be fluent in creating websites to deploy that thrive on strong architecture, while supplementing with data-driven applications that optimize site functionality throughout the lifecycle of each project. The Full Stack Developer will need to know how to effectively create website foundations using back-end applications and database structures. Environment Microsoft-based infrastructure using primarily Windows desktop OS and Windows Server with Office 365; primarily .Net web and desktop development utilizing Microsoft SQL database back-end and limited use of Azure blob storage; integrations with Microsoft’s Dynamics Navision, D365 systems, UPS WorldShip, ShipWise, and Endicia; Palo Alto security network has been implemented. Duties Primary function of Developing and designing RESTful services and APIs. Concepting, creating and building code from business requirements and designer wireframes, creating effective code. Working through the website development lifecycle to launch. Designing user-based interactions through effective front-end architecture framework. Coding for various platforms to ensure functionality across multiple channels. Working with the team to develop best practices. Determining application responsiveness for users. Ensuring company mandate is effectively addressed in technical and developmental aspects. Troubleshooting issues and problem solving as necessary. Keeping current with industry trends and developments that can be applied to company needs. Education, Experience, Qualifications and Skills Minimum 5+ years’ experience in web development and programming for the following technologies
C# / .NET (.NET 8) (Full Stack Development) ASP.NET Core APIs Blazor (Server-side, experience with component-based architecture) React JavaScript SQL Entity Framework (ORM experience in general) Azure DevOps and Azure Services CI/CD Pipelines (YAML and Azure DevOps) Bootstrap (5+)
Experience with third-party controls (Telerik, Debenu/Foxit) a plus Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture/Microservices a plus Experience with Digital Signing Services a plus Ability to quickly learn and appropriately utilize internal applications and knowledge bases as needed for timely completion of daily tasks. Ability to read, process and follow written directions and procedures. Ability to maintain routine and predictability in dynamic and open-office environment. Ability to work in concert with a team or independently, with or without direct supervision/guidance as needed. Ability to self-manage and multi-task while making fact-based or historically-valid and justifiable decisions. Ability to consistently comply with established procedures, rules, and regulations. Valid (non-suspended or limited) Driver’s License and dependable transportation for timely work attendance and/or occasional supply or materials errands as needed or required. Physically able to bend/kneel/walk/stand, in tandem with cart, stepstools or rolling ladders, to access supplies and various works in progress or other materials as needed in storage rooms or production areas. Good vision, with or without corrective lenses, in order to sustain adequate visual focus over a period of time.
