Full Stack Developer

with a strong

backend emphasis

to join a collaborative engineering team. This group is responsible for building, maintaining, and modernizing a suite of internal and client-facing applications critical to lab operations nationwide. This is a chance to contribute to long-term platform modernization while ensuring the reliability of core legacy systems still in active use. About the Team: Youll be joining a highly technical team of engineers focused on backend services, integration, and system architecture supporting complex lab testing workflows. The team manages a portfolio of legacy Windows and web-based applications while actively developing new backend infrastructure and scalable platforms to support future growth. Leadership is hands-on and technically engaged, with a robust multi-year roadmap already in motion. The environment is fast-paced and autonomy-driven, with streamlined communication and a culture built on technical excellence and team support. What Youll Be Doing: Designing and developing backend services and APIs to support lab operations and internal tools Contributing to modernization efforts by migrating legacy .NET applications to newer .NET Core-based platforms Writing and optimizing

SQL queries, stored procedures , and database access layers for high-volume systems Supporting data integrity, reporting, and integration tasks across legacy and modernized systems Maintaining and optimizing existing systems built on .NET Framework and MVC Collaborating with frontend developers (Angular) and other stakeholders to deliver full-stack solutions Working with Git and Azure DevOps as part of CI/CD and deployment processes Helping lay the groundwork for a future-ready platform, with scalability and integration in mind Tools/Other:

Git, Azure DevOps (in transition), exposure to messaging systems and system integrations Cloud:

Azure (hybrid environment; full cloud-native migration in progress) This role requires a hybrid structure of 2 days on site per week in Burlington, NC Seniority level
