Network-Savvy CNO Developer

to join our SAS team supporting the

Network Device team . In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge capabilities for network-based systems and appliances. This position offers a flexible labor category (CS 2/3) and is ideal for individuals with deep knowledge of network protocols, embedded systems, and CNO development in real-time environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain advanced CNO capabilities for network devices

Write efficient, low-level code in

C , tailored to custom embedded environments

Perform

reverse engineering

and vulnerability analysis on network appliances

Support both new capability development and enhancement of existing tools

Collaborate with mission teams to ensure capabilities meet operational goals and system constraints

Analyze and manipulate

network protocols , device behavior, and traffic patterns

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science ,

Computer Engineering , or a related technical field

5+ years of experience with

C development

and

reverse engineering

Experience developing

CNO tools

for

network devices

(e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, mission-focused environment

Deep understanding of

network protocols

(TCP/IP stack, routing protocols, etc.)

Experience with

network device appliances , including configuration and embedded behaviors

Hands-on experience in

Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)

environments

Familiarity with tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Wireshark, or similar

Understanding of secure coding practices and operational security
