Product Owner - Benchling needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in
Waltham, MA .
This position is in the
Data Catalyst team of a major
pharmaceutical company , and requires a
Bachelor's of Science or Bioinformatics degree . Schedule is
full-time M-F (7am-8am start time, 8 hour shift) and may require flexibility to work some evenings and overtime due to projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management & Continuity Maintain existing product roadmap and priorities for lab functions
Execute ongoing initiatives within Benchling platform
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure business continuity
Support day-to-day operations and user requirements
Stakeholder Management Facilitate regular meetings with lab teams and key users
Coordinate with Digital R&D product leads
Support ongoing communication with various stakeholders
Maintain progress tracking and reporting
Business Analysis & Implementation Gather and document user requirements
Coordinate with Benchling administrators and key users
Support template creation and workflow optimization
Maintain documentation of changes and updates
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related Life Sciences field. A combination of biological sciences with data management or informatics is highly desirable
Experience working within or providing support to laboratory or pharmaceutical research environments
Knowledge of Benchling platform required
Experience with documentation and requirements gathering
Proficiency in collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Problem-solving aptitude and detail-oriented approach
Ability to work independently and in teams
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Estimated Min Rate : $35.00 Estimated Max Rate : $44.00
