Under minimal direct supervision, the Safety Services Supervisor oversees the safety team and associates, ensuring the security and safety of our members and staff. Safety Services provides support during all hours of the day for members and employees, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides oversight and direct supervision to the Safety Associates, ensuring the department’s duties are carried out as assigned Ensures ongoing monitoring of the facility and grounds to ensure the safety of all members and staff Ensures the completion of a minimum of one (1) interior and one (1) exterior patrol every hour, with each patrol including the expected number of pictures and comprehensive notes required Ensures effective reporting and documenting of any/all incidents that occur on shift Ensures the responsible searching, securing, and documenting of all deliveries and drop-offs Responds to any/all requests for assistance/support from staff and members, as needed Ensures enforcement of applicable member-related policies, procedures, and guidelines Monitors and processes timesheets and time off requests of assigned Safety Associates Completes ongoing assessment and evaluation of Safety Associates’ performance, providing ongoing coaching, counseling, mentoring, and training as needed, for the purpose of staff accountability, development, and growth Partners with other leaders and staff to ensure smooth and effective department/company operations and outcomes Monitors and ensures training compliance within assigned staff and department Models the company’s core values for staff and members Ensures effective collaboration and communication transpire between staff, teams, and departments Additional duties as assigned At New Freedom, we restore lives and reintegrate communities through intentional guidance by providing our members with a sense of identity, purpose, and hope.
