Job Description:
As a Line Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production lines. Working closely with management, quality, and production associates, you will be responsible for various tasks aimed at meeting production deadlines, maintaining quality control, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities: Visually inspect line to ensure supplies are in place-cases, bottles, labels, caps, sleeves, etc. Notify material handler of all items needed for each job Responsible for daily operational GMP requirements Work with maintenance staff to ensure lines are running as efficient as possible informing them when a line is going to be available for changeovers or preventive maintenance work Train new employees or temps as needed Facilitate shift hand-off meetings to communicate production order Accurately enter maintenance work order requests Read and comprehend production schedule Ability to review and understand quality standards of each assigned product being produced Interact with Quality team to ensure standards are met Capable to changeover all equipment on the line Complete all training on GMP's and applicable SOP's required for position With experience, minor troubleshooting and repairs will be expected.
Experience Needed:
-Work in a Manufacturing Environment Required
- Supervisor or Lead in a Manufacturing Environment Preferred
- Mechanical Aptitude Needed
- Basic Computer (Keyboard / Typing, Spreadsheets) Preferred
