Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-sales technical support to help advance opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with sales reps to qualify leads and design tailored technical strategies
- Assist in managing sales operations including pipeline tracking and forecasting
- Lead discovery sessions to identify customer objectives and architect aligned AWS solutions
- Present cloud architecture proposals, technical demos, and cost breakdowns to prospective clients
- Produce high-impact technical proposals and secure funding through AWS partner programs
- Create detailed documentation: solution designs, statements of work, and implementation plans
- Conduct Optimized Licensing Assessments (OLAs) across platforms such as VMware, Microsoft, Oracle, and storage systems
- Perform migration readiness reviews and portfolio analysis to define transformation roadmaps
- Support modernization initiatives by identifying opportunities for containerization and serverless infrastructure
- Coordinate with AWS account teams to ensure architectural alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Guide seamless hand-offs to engineering teams through thorough knowledge transfers
- Cultivate strong relationships with technical stakeholders at all organizational levels from engineers to C-suite executives
- Stay up to date on the latest AWS service offerings and cloud industry developments
- Represent Company at local tech events and industry activities
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Education
- 5+ years in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or related roles
- 3+ years of practical experience working with AWS services and cloud architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- AWS Associate-level certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps) required
- Additional AWS certifications are a plus
- History of successful technical pre-sales engagements and solution design
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business value
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, container platforms, and modern app frameworks
- Rapid adaptability to new technologies and ability to connect tech capabilities with business needs
- Experience working in agile teams and remote-first environments
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and enterprise architecture patterns
- Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance requirements, and cost optimization strategies
