Summary:
General Assembly duties may include building/finishing our amazing in-house products as well as components of those from many of our clients. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, machines such as forklifts.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/supervisor in a timely manner Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, and set out or put away tools Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work Building and/or finishing a variety of in-house products utilizing hand and power tools Qualifications / Requirements:
Math Skills: Basic math skills Familiar with the function of hand tools related to grinding/deburring materials Good attention to detail and self-motivated Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team Manual dexterity to use hand held tools and shop machines Positive attitude and work ethic Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in general labor/manufacturing and/or metal fabrication preferred Ability to understand blueprints documents Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBOSS Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents.
