Enterprise Data Architect - Data Modernization (Onsite - Dallas, TX)
We are seeking a
strong Enterprise Data Architect
to lead the architecture strategy for a large-scale
Data Modernization program
in the
Financial Services
industry. This is a
hands-on, onsite role based in Dallas, TX .
Key Responsibilities: • Lead
current-state assessment , discovery, and gap analysis of legacy data environments • Define
target-state architecture
and craft a clear
migration roadmap
aligned to business priorities • Guide and support engineering teams through execution across data ingestion, modeling, transformation, and provisioning • Architect modern
cloud-native data platforms
leveraging tools like
Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, GCP • Provide thought leadership in
data modeling, BI architecture , and
data engineering
practices • Ensure smooth modernization from legacy stacks (SQL Server, Talend, Datastage) to modern platforms
Required Qualifications: • 10+ years in data architecture with strong hands-on experience in
data engineering and modeling • Proven track record in
legacy-to-cloud data modernization
programs • Expertise in
modern data stacks
(Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, GCP) and familiarity with legacy tools (SQL Server, Talend, Datastage) • Experience creating
enterprise data architecture , migration strategies, and reference models • Strong collaboration and leadership skills; able to partner effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
