Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floating Property Manager to join our team in Federal Way. As a Floating Property Manager specializing in affordable housing, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple properties within our portfolio, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with regulations, and exceptional tenant satisfaction.
Manage day-to-day operations of multiple affordable housing properties, traveling between locations as needed
Ensure compliance with all applicable affordable housing regulations and Fair Housing laws
Oversee tenant relations, including leasing, move-ins, move-outs, and conflict resolution
Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, working closely with on-site staff and contractors
Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs
Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, and occupancy reports
Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates
Train and supervise on-site property management staff
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless property operations
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in affordable housing regulations
Qualifications: Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.
Proficiency in YARDI, Knock and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations, compliance requirements, and Fair Housing laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, staff, and partners
Proven problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Experience in budget preparation and financial reporting
Ability to travel between multiple properties and adapt to changing work environments
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred)
Property Management Certification (e.g., CPM, ARM) (preferred)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Bilingual skills a plus
Additional Information
Multiple sites - home base will be Redondo Heights (300 + units)
Pay: $80,000 - $90,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday, may also work weekends
