Description Hello! Thank you for your interest in joining the Wellspring team as a Family Preservation Worker with the Family Reunification Program. As a statewide nonprofit serving families and children in need of support, we take a whole-person approach to our organization and delivery of our services — because we believe we must find the strengths in people and build on these for lasting change to occur. As a Family Preservation Worker with the Family Reunification Program with Wellspring, you'll be part of a team of social workers and administrative professionals who are committed to helping families throughout Wayne County. In this position, you will bring a bachelor's degree in social work or a human services related field. Additional experience includes one year of working with children and families, preferred. As a Family Preservation Worker, you will: Adhere to the Family Reunification Program model of service (strength-based, solution focused approach). Work with a Team Leader to implement the family treatment plan. Provide skills training, including but not limited to; parental resilience, social connections and concrete support, child development, social and emotional competence of children, nurturing and attachment and infant safe sleep. Provide support, brief counseling and crisis interventions for families. Provide and assist families in obtaining concrete services, such as housing, transportation, home maintenance and repair, etc. Refer families/make collateral contacts to community services including but not limited to: Early On, domestic violence, mental health and substance abuse counseling based on the needs of the family. Prepare safety plans, case notes, time sheets, etc., assist Team Leader with reports (service plans, progress reports, termination summaries, letters, etc.) within the appropriate time frame. Plan, develop, and coordinate quarterly workshop ideas and quarterly family activities with the FRP team. Document the use of solution-focused interviewing techniques and positive, empowering, strength-based language in communication with the family. Maintain face to face contact with families according to the contract defined frequency and the individual needs of each family by keeping a flexible work schedule Complete follow-up evaluations of families at 6 and 12 months in the specified time frame. Transport clients in your own vehicle.

$41,000 per year based on experience Hybrid-Remote:

You'll be home-based with a flexible work schedule, and traveling into the communities to see clients in-home throughout Wayne County
