Position Overview
The Security Architect-Infrastructure position at Ashley Furniture is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's security architecture while ensuring the protection of enterprise information assets and technology. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on technical expertise to develop and oversee security solutions that align with business objectives. Technical Requirements
Expert knowledge of
security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) Proficiency in cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) Deep understanding of network security protocols and technologies Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) solutions Expertise in encryption technologies and PKI infrastructure Understanding of security automation and orchestration tools Familiarity with containerization and microservices security Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security Key Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise-wide security architecture solutions Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses of infrastructure components • Lead security incident response planning and execution • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security requirements are met in all projects • Evaluate and recommend security products and solutions • Monitor security trends and emerging threats • Provide technical guidance on security matters to IT teams and management • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans • Perform security architecture reviews for new technologies and solutions • Create and maintain security documentation and diagrams • Guide the implementation of security tools and controls • Mentor junior security team members • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms for security initiatives • Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years focused on security architecture, or related experience • Professional security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent) • Demonstrated experience in enterprise security architecture • Strong project management and leadership skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Apply today and find your home at Ashley!
