Work model: On-Site What you will do: Optimize manufacturing processes and lead on-the-floor troubleshooting initiatives Design, develop, and maintain jigs, fixtures, and mold tooling Support automation and robotics projects (experience is a plus, but not required) Collaborate closely with production, materials, and quality teams to drive improvements Split time between hands-on shop support and office-based engineering tasks What you will need to be successful: Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience (5+ years preferred) Proven background in tooling and fixture design, with a focus on continuous improvement Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar 3D modeling software Strong communicator comfortable working directly with operators and frontline teams Experience with robotics or automation is a plus Mold tooling expertise is a strong advantage Benefits overview: Vision, dental, and health insurance 401k PTO Interested and qualified candidates can contact Eric Peterson at (515) 225-7000 or email epeterson@thepalmergroup.com.
