Our Finance team isn’t your average group of number crunchers. As part of a fast-growing brand, this team is in the unique position to approach a traditional department in an exciting new way. From the way we create our shoes to how we market them, Rothy’s is paving its own path. And that means the Finance team gets in on the fun innovations, too. About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in a temporary role where you will support the key business functions to drive profitable growth. You will play a critical role in developing the financial forecasting for all channels, developing analytical insights, and evaluating strategic business decisions. In this role you will be managing forecasting models, along with implementing and revising processes to support our overall planning activities. This position will report to our Sr. Director of Finance and needs to be based in the San Francisco office. What you’ll do:
Collect, analyze, and report on COGS components like product cost, shipping expense, 3PL, duty, and inbound freight
Track COGS trends, identifying variances from budget/forecast, and explaining key drivers behind changes
Generate financial reports by collecting, formatting, and analyzing relevant information and data sets
Collaboration with other departments (e.g., operations, supply chain, accounting) to gather necessary data for forecasts and budgets.
Ability to independently analyze large datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to support decision-making.
Partner in monthly accounting activities, and prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports and variance analysis
Continuous improvement on our planning and analysis processes, tools, and reporting
You have:
A strong foundation (4+ years) of financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and analyzing financial and operational data
A familiarity with GAAP accounting
Experience with consumer/branded companies and e-commerce/digital marketing business models
Expertise in modeling within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations
Investment banking and/or MBA a plus
Experience in a start-up environment a plus
A great team player with a can-do attitude
Tableau / SQL experience would be nice to have
Pay range:
$98,000 - $115,000 annually Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Please see our Privacy Policy
