Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Assembler to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, and joining sheet metal components using hand and power tools, based on technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with sheet metal and a commitment to precision and safety.

Key Responsibilities: Assemble and fit sheet metal parts using fasteners, rivets, welds, adhesives, or other methods. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic machinery to form, cut, or modify sheet metal parts. Inspect and verify finished assemblies meet quality and dimensional standards. Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and other production personnel to ensure proper alignment and assembly. Maintain clean and organized workstations and tools. Perform minor rework or adjustments as needed based on inspection findings. Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies during all operations. Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus. 1-3 years of experience working with sheet metal in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient in using hand tools, rivet guns, grinders, drills, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods. Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to sheet metal fabrication. Preferred Skills (Optional):

Experience with aerospace or precision manufacturing. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices or 5S methodology. Basic welding or soldering experience is a plus.
