Project Manager II - SI
to help keep our productions running with precision, efficiency, and excellence from pre-production through post-analysis.
In this strategic role, you'll serve as the heartbeat of project operations-ensuring schedules are realistic, teams are properly deployed, and each event is executed on time, on budget, and at the highest level Scope of Responsibilities
You will collaborate with Sales Engineers, Programmers, and Technical Managers to establish and manage project timelines and resource allocations. You will be expected to develop and refine tools and processes that drive consistency, profitability, and team accountability across all Systems Integration projects. Essential Functions Project Planning & Budgeting Create detailed project timelines and align budgets accordingly. Forecast and mitigate risks to ensure labor, timelines, and finances remain on track. Cross-Trade Coordination Monitor and manage dependencies between trades and project milestones to identify potential conflicts early and resolve them proactively. Staff Deployment Design and manage a technician scheduling system to ensure optimal deployment of field staff. Project Communication Maintain continuous communication with Lead Technicians and Technical Managers on task statuses, milestone tracking, and project updates. Client & Internal Collaboration Coordinate with Sales Engineers, Technical Managers, and clients to meet project objectives and maintain a high standard of customer service. Process Optimization Develop and implement analytics to assess project profitability and operational efficiency. Standard Operating Procedures Document and maintain project-related SOPs, site safety programs, and best practices. Attendance Regular attendance and consistent follow-through are essential to project success. Core Competencies Technical Expertise Deep understanding of audiovisual gear, construction methods, and project workflows; able to troubleshoot and communicate technical needs under pressure. Problem Solving & Decision Making Proactively addresses issues; applies knowledge and experience to deliver swift, informed decisions; knows when to escalate to leadership. Adaptability Flexible and responsive to evolving project conditions and client needs. Client-Facing Excellence Builds strong client relationships through communication, accountability, and a reputation for reliability; frequently requested by clients for future work. Safety Awareness Identifies and addresses safety concerns; leads by example in upholding site safety protocols. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of
5 years of professional project management
experience in AV, construction, or systems integration Demonstrated success managing
projects exceeding $2MM
in total annual value Strong track record of on-time, on-budget project delivery In-depth knowledge of
