Descriptio : Role: SDWAN Network Architect/Engineer (architect level but needing to be hands on key board as required)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Hybrid role: Phoenix Hybrid role where candidate would be asked to come in the office based on when leadership is in the office. (typically on Wednesdays or every other Wednesday). They would like a local resource to Phoenix; open to traveling to mines.

Top 3 skills that candidates must be able to speak to previous experience in:

Route/Switch, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP & MPLS networks, Velocloud, SD WAN, Viptella Palo Alto Dynamic routing experience Azure networking is current environment Current team : (5) network engineers & (1) wireless engineer

Reason for the need -

Adding additional NOC services in environment and seeking someone to be the right hand man of current Manager

Job Description:

Collaborate with assigned team responsible to maintain and enhance the overall performance and availability of network infrastructure solutions to include data, video, voice, and wireless. Analyze technologies and recommend upgrades/changes based on assessments of the organization's current and future network technology needs.

Support efforts within the network operations team in developing network installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures Conduct thorough analysis of service results and respond to any escalated service delivery issues in a timely manner Work effectively with other IS teams and outsourcing provider(s) to ensure technology solutions are effectively managed and performed Support design solutions and implementation and support models for technology Assist in the development of network operations processes, procedures, and documentation Support network maintenance activity while minimizing impact to services Configure, install, support, and troubleshoot network equipment Interface with the business users to elicit and define network communications requirements CCNP level certification and/or substantiated experience Cisco Client & wireless technologies Exposure to Microsoft Azure networking Experience with network monitoring tools, preferably Cisco DNA Center

Extensive troubleshooting experience and working knowledge of troubleshooting tools including packet capture and analysis
