Senior Network Engineer/Cisco/Data Center

Our client is looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to join their team and help support their on-prem network infrastructure. In this role, you'll work on network projects, handle implementations, and provide day-to-day operational and escalation support. You'll be involved in things like system documentation, device configurations, maintenance, and life cycle management. This is a fully Cisco environment so they are looking for someone who has strong hands on experience with all Cisco suite of products. They are looking for someone who can think creatively to solve complex problems, work well both independently and as part of a team, and communicate effectively with other departments. You should be comfortable juggling project tasks and have strong experience working alongside senior leadership on projects. Required Skills & Experience Expertise with Cisco switching, Catalys & Nexus Strong Experience with Routing Protocols, BGP, OSPF Experience doing project work in data centers Expertise creating VLANs Strong Understanding of VXLAN Cisco Wireless experience Experience with network projects such as data center consolidations, switch refreshes, and documentation changes Strong Engineering Experience and experience building gout full networks Desired Skills & Experience
