Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced

Senior Oracle DBA

to join our enterprise infrastructure team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting a large-scale Oracle environment powering over

1,400 business applications . The ideal candidate has deep expertise in

data center migrations ,

high availability architecture , and strong collaboration skills to work alongside Agile teams across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute

Oracle database migrations

between on-premises data centers or to the cloud (OCI, AWS). Design and maintain

high availability and disaster recovery

solutions using Oracle

Data Guard ,

GoldenGate , and

RAC . Tune and optimize database performance using

AWR/ASH reports, SQL tuning , and PL/SQL best practices. Act as a

functional DBA , supporting development, QA, and production environments. Collaborate closely with

Scrum Masters , developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders across multiple Agile teams. Provide operational support for over

1,400 enterprise applications

relying on Oracle databases. Create and maintain database monitoring, automation, and alerting solutions using

OEM, Shell scripting , and

PL/SQL . Implement and maintain

data security , auditing, and compliance controls (HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, etc.). Participate in an on-call rotation, lead incident triage, and support root cause analysis and resolution. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience

as an Oracle Database Administrator in enterprise-scale environments. Strong experience with

Oracle 12c/19c , Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN. Proven track record of

migrating databases across data centers

or to cloud platforms. Proficiency in scripting and automation using

Shell, PL/SQL , and experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work across technical and business teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
