Privileged Access Management (PAM) Job Summary:
We are seeking a
Data Engineer
to support the
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
team in
Columbus, OH . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ETL and database systems, along with strong programming and data modeling skills. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build and optimize data pipelines and systems that are foundational to identity and access management initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain
ETL processes
and
data pipelines
to support PAM systems. Work with
Pentaho
(preferred), or similar ETL tools like
Spark
or
Databricks . Design, implement, and optimize
relational database systems
using
SQL . Write and maintain scripts in
Python , leveraging libraries such as
Pandas
and
NumPy . Apply
data modeling
and data architecture principles to support scalable system design. Support data-related aspects of
cloud platforms
(experience is a plus). Collaborate with development and security teams to improve
data integration , governance, and
IAM/PAM compliance . Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a
Data Engineer
or in a similar data-centric role. Strong expertise in
ETL development ,
SQL , and
database systems . Proficiency in
Python scripting
and familiarity with data manipulation libraries. Solid understanding of
data modeling
and
data management
principles. Experience with tools such as
Pentaho ,
Spark , or
Databricks . Familiarity with
Agile methodologies
and software development best practices. Knowledge of
CI/CD ,
TDD ,
Cloud Development ,
application resiliency , and
security practices . Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages. Experience with
PAM/IAM
systems is a strong plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Note:
