Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is seeking a

Senior Configuration Manager

to support the HNA program at Hanscom Air Force Base. In this role, you will provide comprehensive Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) support in accordance with the program's Configuration Management Plan, Air Force SEAM processes, DoD policies, and PMO best practices. The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing the configuration of software, engineering documents, CDRLs, and change control processes, and will support key program lifecycle events such as PCAs, FCAs, and CCBs. Responsibilities

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter. Duties include, but not limited to: Provide configuration management of all relevant program artifacts, including software, hardware, and documentation baselines. Archive acquisition documentation and maintain CM files including change control, status accounting, and configuration identification.

Review and analyze CM and CDRL data from contractors for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).

Participate in cross-functional review boards and engineering assessments, ensuring traceability and baseline integrity.

Track and maintain Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Problem Reports (PRs).

Support and prepare for audits including Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs).

Develop and administer configuration management plans; support licensing, version control, and software releases.

Manage CM libraries and repositories; support data tracking workflows and automated archival systems.

Ensure contractor compliance with CDRL deliveries and data justification forms.

Oversee compliance with all applicable DoD guidance including DoDI 5230.24, DODD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M, and DFARS clauses.

Support the Configuration Management USAP Self-Inspection Checklists and input results into MICT.

Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, program managers, and stakeholders in an IPT environment.

Support preparation and distribution of CDRLs and maintain distribution lists for program transmittal methods.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree Years' experience:

3-5 years of experience Certifications:

Industry CM/DM certified; post 90 days from start date Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree preferred Certifications: CMPIC, CMII, or equivalent certifications preferred Technical Skills Strong understanding of CM principles, SEAM processes, and the DoD acquisition lifecycle

Proficiency in configuration tools and software versioning systems

Experience performing CM audits, preparing release notes, and tracking baselines

Familiarity with CDRL processing, MICT, and CM documentation standards

Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite

Interpersonal Skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Capable of multitasking across a range of technical and administrative activities

Comfortable leading meetings and interfacing with stakeholders at all levels
