AI Governance Coordinator

to join their team onsite at the cutting-edge research facilities of a

leading global biopharmaceutical organization . This is an exciting permanent opportunity to contribute to the responsible and ethical development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence within a dynamic and impactful industry.

Responsibilities:

Support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough research on AI-related regulations, best practices, and emerging trends to inform governance strategies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, IT, and research and development, to ensure adherence to AI governance standards. Assist in the planning and execution of governance campaigns and initiatives to promote awareness and understanding of AI governance principles across the organization. Document and maintain comprehensive records of AI governance activities, policies, and compliance efforts. Support the assessment of AI systems and applications for potential risks and biases, and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies. Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams and legal counsel on AI-related legal and ethical considerations. Contribute to the development of training materials and deliver presentations on AI governance topics to relevant stakeholders. Track and report on key AI governance metrics and performance indicators. Assist in the response to internal and external audits and inquiries related to AI governance. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as law, political science, information technology, ethics, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a research-intensive role, preferably within a regulated industry. Demonstrated experience in developing and/or implementing governance frameworks, policies, or compliance programs. Proven experience working directly and effectively with legal teams and understanding legal and regulatory considerations. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and synthesize findings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with AI concepts, technologies, and their ethical and societal implications is highly desirable. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $110,000 per year

Work Model:

Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite in Tarrytown, NY
