Requirements
Experience
5 years in mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment Education
A bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or a related engineering field Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks Experience in pumps, fluid control, or pressure vessel manufacturing Familiar with ASME Section VIII metal forming and molding techniques Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Plan, conduct, and lead internal and external audits; implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) Ensure compliance with global standards, including NSF, ASME, ATEX, CE, and others Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to define and embed quality into new product development Create and enforce inspection protocols for incoming materials, in-process operations, and final product checks Train staff on quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and Lean Six Sigma principles Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality training documents Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA Support risk assessments and FMEA activities during design and production stages Oversee equipment calibration schedules and maintain accurate calibration records Evaluate and process non-conforming materials, deviations, and Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) Champion continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
