Job Summary: We’re looking for an experienced
Snowflake Migration Architect / Lead Data Engineer
to lead the development of scalable, high-performance data solutions. In this role, you’ll architect Snowflake environments, manage Kafka-based data ingestion pipelines, and drive ETL development using Talend. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, setting data standards, and ensuring end-to-end pipeline efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and optimize scalable Snowflake data models and solutions
Design and manage real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines using Kafka
Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot Talend ETL workflows
Define and enforce data mapping standards, validation rules, and transformation logic
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Lead and mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices
Ensure data quality, documentation, and adherence to governance standards
Required Skills & Experience:
7–14 years of total experience in data engineering, with strong Snowflake expertise
3+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing Snowflake-based architectures
In-depth knowledge of Kafka for event-driven and streaming data ingestion
Proven experience with Talend or equivalent ETL tools
Strong proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and complex transformations
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
