We're assisting a well-funded, two-year-old startup with their search for full stack engineers. Their product uses AI to create more efficient marketing funnels that allow ecommerce teams to increase sales. The role will be a hybrid role working out of the SF office (3 days per week) and they're hiring a handful of engineers in this capacity.
What you'll do:
Build out agentic workflows that design, build, and optimize online shops
Build out product & payments processing infrastructure
Architect and implement full-stack product features in TypeScript/React/Node
Own analytics and experimentation infrastructure on ClickHouse/Kafka/Redis
Build AI tools for end-customers to generate new marketing content
Own the user onboarding flow from end-to-end
What you'll bring:
1+ years of experience Ideally fast-moving engineer with at least 1 year of experience from an early-stage startup (pre-Series B)
Experience in fast-paced and ambiguous environments and defining software architecture patterns to solve customer pain points.
Strong proficiency in Typescript/React/Node.
Can leverage GPT/Claude/Cursor to accelerate their work.
Experience building products 0 -> 1 with real users and revenue.
Has a product and customer-focused mindset.
Values writing clean, maintainable software, including documentation
Nice to haves:
Previous experience at an early-stage (Series A or earlier) startup
Has experience being burned by deployment and maintenance issues. If you have a strong opinion on how products should be built, that’s good.
Former founder, or founding experience
Experience in and enjoyment of hackathons
Have an eye for visual design (or past experience in product design, Figma, etc).
