Layout Engineer Location: Sacramento, CA or Fremont, CA
Compensation: $35-$55 (pending experience and capabilities)

SUMMARY:
The Engineering department comprises both Shop Drawing Engineers and Layout Engineers. We eventually want all Engineers to have the ability to provide a level of both, despite their primary role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Layout: Creating layout/ cut tags for the shop to produce, machine & build from
Taking items from shop drawings to 100% buildable work orders
Creating a cut-list through Microvellum or similar software
CNC programs through Alphacam or similar software
Coordinate with the shop during production as needed
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years of experience with Microvellum or AutoCAD
An understanding of cabinet construction
An understanding of how to read Architectural drawings
Experience with Alphacam is a plus
Experience creating cut-list/layouts for the shop to produce from
