Job Description:

At Regions, the Systems Administrator installs, configures, and maintains operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established Information Technology (IT) policies and procedures

Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels

Monitors system software licensing and maintenance agreements

Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions

Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

Supports media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services

Develops and promotes standard operating procedures

Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation

Some scripting (i.e. PowerShell and Bash)

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or technical training program with four (4) years of related experience

Or, a High School Diploma or GED with eight (8) years of related experience

Skills and Competencies

Ability to multitask and prioritize projects

Ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Excellent customer service skills

Strong knowledge of operating systems

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

Strong verbal and written communications skills

-Familiar Microsoft Configuration Manager (formerly known as System Center Configuration Manager or SCCM)

-Experience deploying software/workstation software deployments

-Previous Regions experience preferred

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

This position is currently offsite and associates will work from their home primarily. They may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

$76,931.80 USD

Median:

$101,540.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
