We're looking for an
Application Modernization Architect
to lead the transformation of our Android-based point-of-sale (POS) application.
This role centers on evolving a legacy monolithic system into a modern, scalable, and cloud-native microservices architecture. The objective is to improve performance, agility, and long-term sustainability across the platform.
Responsibilities include working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to guide architectural decisions, define modernization strategies, and oversee technical implementation. The initial phase will focus on discovery-assessing the current system, identifying key areas for change, and estimating the scope of work.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in application modernization, hands-on system decomposition, and the design of distributed systems. Strong communication skills and a strategic mindset are essential for success in this role.
