The ideal candidate will have experience in routing and switching, with a strong focus on IoT infrastructure and Cisco technologies.
Rate Range:
$68.18/hour to $79.55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
IoT Platform Engineer job responsibilities include:
Develop lab frameworks to connect IoT endpoints to campus/branch networks and certify hardware, software features, and endpoint functionality. Identify communication scenarios between end and edge devices and oversee testing of data gathering, aggregation, and analytics capabilities. Apply deep knowledge of Cisco SD-Access (SDA), 802.1x, NAC, and TrustSec functionality. Work with Cisco IOS-XE products, segmentation configurations, and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for automation and management. Collaborate with network engineers and management teams to drive solutions and ensure alignment. Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desired Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in routing, switching, and IoT platform engineering. Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-Access, TrustSec, and DNA Center. Strong understanding of network admission control and segmentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Pay Details:
$68.18 to $79.55 per hour
