Do you enjoy solving complex technical challenges in large-scale delivery systems? The AMXL Product Strategy team is looking for an experienced technical leader with a strong record of delivering enterprise-level solutions. This role will work across multiple system teams (i.e. DEX, Promise, ATROPs) to architect and implement solutions that transform our delivery capabilities and customer experience. They will also work closely with AMXL Data Science and Analytics to develop sophisticated customer segmentation models and business solutions to grow the Heavy Bulky business.

Key job responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical architecture and requirements for consolidated delivery systems and fee implementation products

Design and own technical requirements for customer segmentation analytics dashboard development and insights delivery

Form and lead cross-functional engineering teams to design and implement complex system integrations

Develop and communicate technical roadmaps for delivery systems, including experimentation design and implementation

Architect technical solutions across multiple systems while ensuring optimal performance and scalability

Drive data-driven product decisions through customer segmentation analysis and metrics

Create comprehensive Technical BRDs and PRFAQs that clearly articulate system requirements and integration strategies

Define and own technical KPIs, business metrics, and customer segmentation insights across delivery platforms

Partner with business teams to translate customer segmentation insights into actionable growth strategies

Up to 10% travel required

A day in the life

A Day in the Life of an AMXL Senior Product Manager - Tech will include:

Leading cross-functional meetings with Operations, Transportation, and Tech teams to gather requirements and align on solutions for complex delivery challenges

Analyzing operational metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for technological improvements, using data-driven insights to prioritize product features that enhance delivery success rates and customer satisfaction

Partnering with ML/AI teams to develop and refine prediction models for delivery times, taking into account unique variables like item size, building access, and delivery complexity

Driving weekly product review meeting with senior leadership, presenting progress on key initiatives and gathering feedback on proposed roadmap changes

Partnering with your fellow Sr. Product Managers and Sr. Product Managers - Tech in the AMXL Product Strategy team to innovate on behalf of the entire AMXL end-to-end business, building features making Heavy Bulky purchases more seamless for our customers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics

5+ years of technical product or program management experience

Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics

7+ years of technical product or program management experience

Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products

Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools

Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
