Description: A Senior Construction Manager specializing in Transmission & Substation projects is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction activities related to electrical transmission and substation projects. Responsibilities may include:
Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets for transmission and substation projects. Leading and managing project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Managing project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies. Procuring materials, equipment, and services for transmission and substation projects. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards on construction sites. Preparing and reviewing project documentation, including contracts, reports, and drawings. Providing leadership and guidance to project teams and subcontractors. Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality. Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and senior management to provide updates on project status. Top 3 Skills: Must Haves:
Transmission/Substation work Experience Electric Utility construction experience Leadership experience Education: Highschool
