We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reporting Manager who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. This dual-role position offers a unique opportunity to shape our data landscape, with a particular emphasis on Power BI report development and the integration of project data from Trimble e-Builder. The ideal candidate will blend analytical expertise with technical prowess to support our business intelligence initiatives and streamline project management processes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

-Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources-including Trimble e-Builder and related project management systems.

-Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights to inform business strategy and project execution.

-Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.

-Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for various business units.

-Utilize DAX and Power Query to model data, create calculated columns, and build advanced metrics.

-Automate data refresh and delivery schedules to ensure up-to-date reporting and seamless information flow.

-Ensure best practices in report design, including performance optimization and intuitive user experience.

-Leverage experience with Trimble e-Builder to extract, transform, and load project data into business intelligence platforms.

-Develop and maintain ETL processes for seamless data integration between Trimble e-Builder and Power BI.

-Work with project managers and IT to troubleshoot data issues and implement process improvements.

-Develop robust reporting solutions that automate routine data tasks and streamline project tracking.

-Document report specifications, data lineage, and maintenance procedures for continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.

-Train end users on self-service BI capabilities and empower them to leverage data-driven decision-making.

-Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security across all reporting solutions.

-Adhere to data governance, privacy, and compliance standards in all analytical and reporting activities.

-Continuous Improvement

-Stay current with new Power BI features, analytics best practices, and Trimble e-Builder enhancements.

-Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve data access, reporting efficiency, and user satisfaction.

Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 4+ years' experience as a Data Analyst, Report Engineer, or similar position. • Demonstrated expertise in Power BI report development, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query. • Hands-on experience with Trimble e-Builder for project data extraction and integration. • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL processes and tools. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) and cloud analytics platforms. • Knowledge of data governance and privacy standards in construction/project management environments. • Background in the construction or capital project management industry. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics.
