Position Summary
Business Analyst- Data Intelligence will support cross-functional business initiatives through thoughtful analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement. This role will serve as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams-translating complex problems into actionable solutions that support data-driven decision-making, system enhancements, and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions and Duties Gather and document detailed business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews. Analyze business processes, workflows, and system functionality to identify areas for improvement or automation. Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Partner with IT, engineering, product, and analytics teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions to ensure alignment on priorities, project scope, and solution design. Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments related to new features, enhancements, or system changes. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), validating requirements and ensuring final deliverables meet stakeholder expectations. Support project delivery using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning where applicable. Create documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support successful implementation and adoption of new tools or processes. Provide support and troubleshooting for live systems and ongoing business processes as needed. Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws. Display dedication to position responsibilities and achieve assigned goals and objectives. Always represent the Company in a professional manner and appearance. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or four (4) years relevant experience in lieu of degree. Required Knowledge:
Familiarity with process modeling, workflow design, or use case documentation tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, Jira, Confluence). Solid understanding of systems or data lifecycle, and how technology supports business processes. Preferred Knowledge:
Exposure to data platforms, reporting tools, or business intelligence (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL). Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Workday. Experience in domains such as finance, supply chain, customer operations, or compliance is a plus. Required Experience:
At least three (3) years' experience [seven (7) for non-degreed candidates] in an inventory, supply or purchasing role Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, finance, sales, or product. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience:
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Required Skills:
Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership. Proactive problem solver who can break down complex topics into actionable insights. Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office setting.

Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
