PrimeServ Product Manager - Product Manager, Region Americas
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the sales of upgrades and retrofits products and for the development of fuel conversion sales projects for all MAN 4 Stroke large bore engines in the Region Americas - with primary focus on the power and marine market Primary point of contact in all questions related to retrofit and upgrades for MAN 4Stroke engines, SCR and Turbocharger for all sales managers from various local entities within the region Responsible for the identification of sales leads, qualification of sales opportunities, development of the sales projects and turning these into wining orders Responsible for initiation and execution of targeted sales campaigns and promotions related to the specific technical solutions for our customers Together with the sales managers from local entities - conduct customer visits with the aim to promote our solutions, to present and explain our specific technical concepts and proposals Together with the tendering management team from the headquarter in Germany - responsible for development of customer specific offerings, considering the requirements and expectations With regard to the specific project - responsible defining of the winning sales strategy; Negotiation and final closing of contracts of large conversion projects, including all the necessary internal approvals procedures Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business; Master's Degree preferred
Experience Required:
Min. 5 years' work experience in a sales or project development position in marine industry. Experience leading large acquisition projects.
Other Skills:
Deep understanding of marine business; Customer oriented, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and highly motivated with ability to focus on defined priorities Excellent communicator with very strong negotiating skills Fluent in spoken and written English, additional foreign language are advantageous Readiness to travel as required by business needs (partially >25% of the time and sometimes on very short notice)
