Responsibilities:
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics). Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis. Provides completion of technical tasks. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications. Works with team to on general lab functions; including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance. Notifies manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project. Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups. Executes designed test protocol and conducts testing. Effectively documents and communicates test results. Handles chemicals occasionally using provided protective equipment. Supports hardware debugging. Requirements:
combination of equivalent education and experience. minimum of training of high school or secondary school in a technical discipline with 2-4 years relevant experience in a relevant R&D setting. technical degree such as B.S. degree + 1-2 years of experience in a related field. bility to understand and perform designed test procedures. The ability to work effectively in a cross functional group and communicate effectively with the lab team and extended team members. Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. Proficiency in personal computers. bility to train lower-level technicians.
