Qualifications: The J2EE Developer will be responsible for developing and modifying applications, as well as delivering high-quality technology solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and the ability to produce detailed design documentation. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying technical issues, reports, and project deliverables.

Responsibilities: Develop applications using J2EE technologies including Core Java, EJB, JDBC, JMS, RAD 7.5, WebSphere 7.0, and Servlets. Work with J2EE frameworks such as SmartGWT, iBATIS, and Castor. Design and maintain database applications with solid experience in Oracle. Develop and consume web services; experience with SOAP, WSDL, and asynchronous communication. Apply object-oriented design and programming principles (OOD/OOP); create UML diagrams and design documentation. Work with XML processing technologies. Use front-end technologies including JavaScript and HTML. Analyze, debug, and resolve complex programming issues in object-oriented systems. Communicate effectively to present ideas, designs, and solutions to team members and stakeholders. Maintain project documentation and ensure deliverables meet technical standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in J2EE development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work independently and within a team.

Desired Skills:

Self-starter and highly motivated team player. Experience with version control systems (e.g., ClearCase). Familiarity with JAX-WS and web service protocols (SOAP, WSDL). Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Visio.
