1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Position Summary:
The Lead Assembler will ensure that assemblers perform their tasks to produce quality parts in an efficient and safe manner. They will report directly to the Lead Coordinator.
Key Tasks:
Coordinate and advise Assemblers in the performance of their duties.
Assist with morning start-ups for all assemblers.
Conduct Inventory counts and label packaging.
Monitor all assigned assembly lines for efficient production of quality parts twice each hour.
Monitor all assigned assembly line bids for each hour.
Complete inventory documentation throughout he assembly task.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists.
Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts
Attend Weekly Lead Assembler meetings
Minimum Requirements, Skills, and Experience:
Experience with Line Assembly
Attention to Detail
Must have great interpersonal skills.
Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
Ability to take direction from Supervisors/Manager
Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack or hand jack occasionally.
Must be able to sit, walk, or stand, for eight hours.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Previous Lead experience (Preferred)
