Summary
The PIO Throw-Ins position will thoroughly and accurately read work orders to add all PIO parts and literature on each vehicle processed.
Responsibilities
Close all parts issued by VIN#
Complete all paperwork as required Ensure all VINs match from vehicle, work order and pillar B panel Report all VINs mismatch to update vehicle location Scan all vehicles to identified Holds and Stop sales Direct all vehicles to the proper overflow areas when VPC is full Inform Supervisor or lead if any issues with Monroney printers or network issues Verify all PIOs codes match work order and Monroney label Inspect and hang color tag any discrepancies Deliver parts in timely manner Month end count, inventory
Ensure safe working environment and follow rules & regulations
Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety Ensure interior of vehicle is clean and free of debris. Ensure work area is clean and organized
Multi-Task with warehouse functions as needed
Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspections when necessary
Other duties as assigned Compensation
$20.69 per hour
Skills
Automotive knowledge Knowledge of hand held electronics Drive both automatic and stick shift vehicles Read/Write in English Education & Experience
High School Diploma/G.E.D. 1 year of inventory experience preferred Must hold a valid State Issued Driver's License Physical Requirements
Comfortable working at heights for various installs Drive Push/pull Bend/stoop Kneel Squat/crouch Stand Lift up to 35 lbs. Carry up to 35 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
Working and Environmental Conditions
This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting.
Ability to operate a computer, copy/fax machine Ability to operate hand-held scanners Exposure to outdoor weather conditions Exposure to vehicle fumes The position is based in a plant manufacturing/warehousing environment. Communication with employees and field partners will be primarily conducted via phone and email.
