This position will report to the VP, IT Internal Audit. The role will follow a hybrid work schedule of up to 2 days per week remote, and 3 days per week in office.

Job Summary: We are seeking a
Senior IT Auditor
to support our Internal Audit team. This role requires
3-6 years of experience in IT auditing
and will focus on
internal audit projects related to SDLC, application audits, and IT General Controls (ITGC) testing . The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, audit expertise, and the ability to assess IT risks and controls within an evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct IT General Controls (ITGC) testing
as part of the internal control assessment process, including controls related to
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance . Assess controls within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , including change management, system implementation, and application security. Perform IT application audits , evaluating system configurations, security controls, and data integrity. Assist in
risk assessments
and contribute to the planning of IT audit engagements. Work closely with
internal stakeholders
to identify control gaps, recommend process improvements, and track remediation efforts. Prepare clear and concise
audit documentation, reports, and findings , ensuring alignment with internal audit standards. Support the
automation and enhancement
of audit procedures through data analytics tools and innovative techniques. Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with
IT and business teams
to ensure successful audit execution. Participate in
ad-hoc projects and investigations
as needed. Qualifications & Experience:
3-6 years
of experience in
IT auditing , internal audit, or related fields. Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field . CISA certification preferred
(or working towards it). Experience in
auditing SDLC controls, ITGC, and application security . Familiarity with
risk assessment frameworks , IT compliance standards, and internal audit methodologies. Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
IT risks, controls, and governance frameworks . Proficiency in IT audit tools and technologies, such as
ACL, SQL, Python, Power BI, Alteryx , or similar platforms. Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and communication
skills. Ability to
manage multiple priorities
in a fast-paced environment. Experience with
audit software
(e.g., AuditBoard) is a plus. This is a
permanent position

For NJ: The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
