Deputy Project Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Project Manager to join our
Offshore Projects & Engineering Team . The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role
requires
Offshore Project Management/Engineering experience
as well as strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to effectively coordinate project activities and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination
Assist the Project Manager in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks. Budget and Resource Management
Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets. Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to achieve project objectives. Ensure project expenses are tracked and reported accurately. Team Leadership and Collaboration
Support the Project Manager in leading project teams, providing guidance and motivation. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Communicate project expectations and updates to team members and stakeholders. Risk Management and Problem Solving
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve any project-related issues promptly and effectively. Ensure contingency plans are in place for critical project elements. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Conduct regular project reviews to ensure adherence to project plans and objectives. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders. Prepare and present regular project status reports to the Project Manager and other stakeholders. Facilitate project meetings and documentation. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or a related role. Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello). PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus. Job Type: Full-time
