Inuvo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and algorithm design. The ideal candidate needs to have development experience. Candidates should thrive both independently and in collaborative, small-team environments. Salary range for this position: $120-$220k. Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant's skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as a member of the Data Science and Machine Learning team, reporting directly to the Director of Data Science. Design, implement, and deploy high-performance, scalable machine learning algorithms. Develop and enhance large-scale data analytics tools and frameworks. Drive innovation by exploring and applying cutting-edge machine learning and data science methodologies. Requirements

Ph.D. or Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field. At least 3 years of software development experience in Java or Python. Minimum 3 years of experience in machine learning, data science, algorithm design, and large-scale statistical analysis. Proficiency in large-scale data processing tools such as Spark or Hadoop. Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of data structure optimization and algorithm scalability. Familiarity with AWS and its suite of data analytics/ML tools is a plus. Knowledge of Kafka, Hive, SQL, and shell scripting is an added advantage. Proven track record of working on complex, modular projects with the ability to define designs and test scenarios independently. Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for data exploration and discovery. Proficient in verbal and visual storytelling with data to communicate insights effectively. US work authorization. What We Offer
