Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy (CCPA) is seeking a passionate and organized
Aquatics Director
for the 2025-2026 school year. This unique position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and expand our elementary swimming program, promoting water safety, physical wellness, and student confidence in and out of the pool.
Position Overview Reporting to the Building Principal and working closely with the physical education department, the Aquatics Director will: Lead and manage the elementary swimming curriculum and programming Promote water safety and foundational swimming skills for all students Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging aquatics environment Collaborate with staff and families to support student progress and participation Why Join CCPA?

Plan and implement a comprehensive elementary swim curriculum Provide direct instruction to students in swimming and water safety Supervise and ensure the safety of all students during pool activities Maintain pool facilities and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations Organize school-wide swim events or family swim nights Train and supervise swim aides or assistant instructors, if applicable Communicate with families about student progress, events, and swim schedules Qualifications & Skills:
Certified Lifeguard and/or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) required Previous experience in swim instruction or aquatics program management CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for education, youth development, and wellness Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families Work Environment:
Elementary school setting with access to aquatics facilities Active and student-focused role Involves regular interaction with students, parents, and school personnel
