This role is the more senior of the 2 openings. Will be part of a 5 person engineering team. Currently have more work than they can handle and they have requests for building new features. Must have an intense work ethic mindset, thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to communicate effectively in a faster paced setting. This person will be doing some of what the junior is, building data pipelines etc and platform stability is huge, they have giant amounts of evidence in their system with dozens of law firms and hundreds of users right now. Sales is selling opportunities for the clients and this person needs to know what is feasible, they want a very flexible platform for their clints to ingest data properly They have to host in the browser, upload/viewing/SaaS platform stability experience Complex data pipelines, they'll spend half a day with a client understanding data and what is needed and what can be done It's a Next.Js app, AWS hosting for DB infra, S3 and RDS Length : C2H Location : NYC (on site 5 days (flex here and there)- no remote but relocation is fine) Salary:

building production web apps (at least 2 years in
Next.js 13/14
or React SSR/SSG frameworks). Deep fluency in
TypeScript
and modern React patterns (App Router, server components, Suspense). Proven experience designing
REST/GraphQL
or edge-function APIs, plus schema & query tuning in
PostgreSQL . Hands-on AWS chops: deploying containerized or serverless apps, securing IAM roles, setting up CloudWatch / X-Ray traces, and troubleshooting VPC networking. Comfort with
Prisma migrations , writing unit/integration tests, and maintaining CI/CD on EB or GitHub Actions. An eye for UX/performance: Lighthouse scores, a11y, bundle-size budgeting, and component theming. Excellent written & verbal communication - you'll collaborate with product, design, and legal SMEs daily. Bonus Points
Network-level AWS expertise (VPC design, PrivateLink, security-group hardening). Familiarity with HIPAA / SOC 2 controls in cloud environments.
