Sr. C++ Embedded Software Engineer

Requirements: This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division. You will be mainly accountable for: Solving complex industrial problems, and reviewing current technologies to choose effective applications, equipment and methods for new products or software Lead for taking architectural decisions on Embedded Products with evaluating technical and business trade offs Manage the whole SW development life cycle (SDLC) of embedded software: Requirements engineering, design, implementation, test including final system testing and maintenance Performing a variety of complex technology/engineering assignments, typically utilizing advanced, innovative techniques Training junior team members when needed, and heading up or participating in projects Lead/Collaborate well with R&D teams, to deliver the Product releases on time, with good quality Align with manager (time, cost, quality) and complete project deliverables Keeping up to date with technologies, tools and methods, and implementing initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfaction Providing expert assistance for projects and colleagues, acting as a mentor and disseminating lessons learned Developing project IP strategies, as well as identifying and managing risks in R&D projects Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering. Must have 8+ years of experience in embedded systems architecture and design. Sound Knowledge of Embedded Operating Systems e.g., Embedded Linux and/or other relevant OS experience (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Green Hills, QNX). Proven track record in embedded software programming in C/C++. Hands on experience on MQTT, Sparkplug B and similar protocols Good to have Node JS, React knowledge. Demonstrable experience in a lead position and proven capability in the technical management of at least one other engineer.
