KOST USA is looking for an
IT Support Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated, professional, and organized individual who enjoys detailed work and a fast-paced environment. The IT Support Technician provides hands-on desktop support to local users and serves as the primary IT support contact for the site, while also assisting other business locations as needed. Responsibilities include managing IT hardware and software procurement, overseeing third-party IT service providers, and supporting office infrastructure such as internet, phones (landline and mobile), and multifunction devices. The technician also works closely with cross-functional teams on various projects and deliverables.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Providing first line IT support response and assist in problem resolution. Treating and prioritizing all the incidents and service requests. Prioritize issues based on severity and priority. Logging all IT incidents and IT service requests in the ServiceDesk. Logging and processing support calls. If an FCR (first call response) cannot be provided, then hand it off to the appropriate person who will resolve it or provide details about expected delays. Responding in a timely manner to service requests and incidents from staff members or company clients. Respecting SLAs when resolving the incidents or escalate if needed. Completing IT onboarding, offboarding and other workflows. Maintaining the log of equipment given out on loan (loaners). Arranging equipment repair: laptops, computers and monitor the status (equipment under warranty). Obtaining quotes for PC hardware, software and miscellaneous equipment for user requirements while being consistent with IT equipment standards and purchase if necessary. Ordering replacement components for broken equipment or upgrade purposes (mice, keyboards, hard drives, memory). Imaging computers, prepare mobile phones. Keeping an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware (PCs, laptops printers) within the organization. Assists Infrastructure and Applications teams if requested and free. Documenting and maintaining technical specification for Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, etc. Providing technical support beyond normal office hours on rotation basis if needed. Being available to remotely respond or come back to work outside of the regular working hours when on call. Responding to urgent incidents by mobile phone and be within 1 hour driving distance of Recochem' s facilities in case on-site support is required when on call. This position requires occasional travelling. A valid driver license is required. This position requires occasional work in the company plants. Education/Experience:
A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, or an equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in the IT field, or a combination of education and experience. Any MICROSOFT, CISCO, CompTIA A+ certifications or similar will be considered as an advantage. Will be nice to be ITIL certified or prove a good knowledge of ITIL processes. Qualification Needed:
Sound knowledge of PC, and Network standards, including hardware. Good knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office and other office applications. Sound knowledge of Enterprise Antivirus solutions (McAfee, Kaspersky, Malwarebytes or other). Sound knowledge of patching endpoint solutions like WSUS, SCCM, Desktop Central or equivalent. ITSM solutions. Sound knowledge of configuring Cisco phones (softphones). Sound knowledge of managing printers using print servers. Good knowledge of O365 products (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be a team player. Physical Demands:
